China-Arab Expo held in Ningxia in September

Production capacity cooperation and other fields, holding investment and trade promotion, conference forums, exhibitions and other activities to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Afghanistan in these areas. This year's China-Arab Expo has 6000 square meters of "Belt and Road" cooperation exhibition area, divided into the National Pavilion exhibition area and brand enterprise exhibition area two areas. Among them, the national pavilion exhibition area mainly displays the customs and culture of countries and regions, trade and investment projects and policies, industrial status, tourism resources and so on. Brand enterprise exhibition area mainly displays foreign intelligent manufacturing, electronic communication, science and technology life, new energy, port logistics, cultural tourism enterprises image, advantage products, specialty products and so on.
Up to now, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Djibouti, Oman and other more than 20 countries and regions have expressed their intention to participate. In recent years, China-Arab economic and trade cooperation has maintained a good momentum.
In 2018, bilateral trade between China and Afghanistan amounted to US$244.3 billion, up 28% YoY, while Chinese enterprises signed NEW contracts in Arab countries amounting to US$35.6 billion, up 9% YoY. The 4th China-Arab Expo was co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for Trade Promotion and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People's Government. According to statistics, the past China-Arab Economic and Trade Forum and the China-Arab Expo, participated in a total of more than 80 countries, regions and international institutions, more than 140 large business associations, 7732 large and medium-sized enterprises and financial institutions representatives, more than 57,000 exhibitors, buyers, signed various kinds of agreements 1129.
