From January to June, shanxi, shanxi and Neimenggu produced 1.23 billion tons of raw coal, accounting for 70.14% of the national raw coal output
The national bureau of statistics (NBS) recently released the output of raw coal in different provinces in June 2019.The monthly increase was 20.96 million tons or 6.71 percent.
In June, the country's daily output of raw coal reached 11.11 million tons, 1.03 million tons more than the previous month.
In the first six months of 2019, China's raw coal output reached 1758.2 million tons, up 2.6% year-on-year, 1.7 percentage points higher than that in the first five months of January and 2.2 percentage points higher than that in the first quarter.
In June 2019, six provinces with a monthly output of over 10 million tons of raw coal produced a total of 280.226 million tons of raw coal, accounting for 84.06% of the national output.Inner Mongolia, shanxi, shaanxi, xinjiang, guizhou and shandong, with output of 88.254 million tons, 87.82 million tons, 63.615 million tons, 18.132 million tons, 12.285 million tons and 10.12 million tons respectively.
The raw coal output of the above six provinces, except shandong province, showed a growth trend year-on-year.The biggest increase was in xinjiang, up 25.2 percent, Inner Mongolia, up 18.9 percent, guizhou, 15.6 percent and shaanxi, 12.5 percent.Shanxi Province fell 9.8 percent and shandong province 4.7 percent.
On a month-on-month basis, shaanxi's raw coal output increased by 17.228 million tons, or 37.14 percent.Xinjiang's output of raw coal increased by 2.548 million tons, or 16.35%.Guizhou's output of raw coal increased by 1.288 million tons, or 11.71%, compared with the previous month.Shanxi's output of raw coal increased by 3.049 million tons, or 3.6%, from the previous month.Output of raw coal in shandong province was 71,000 tons lower than last month, and xinjiang was 0.7% lower.Inner Mongolia's raw coal output fell 3.861 million tons, or 4.19%, from a month earlier.
In June, raw coal production in 10 provinces increased year on year, with the largest increase in xinjiang, followed by yunnan province with a 19.9 percent year-on-year increase of 4.459 million tons.The smallest increase was in liaoning province, where output rose 0.1 per cent year-on-year to 2.848m tonnes.Anhui province followed with a 0.5 per cent year-on-year increase, with raw coal output of 8.994m tonnes.
The largest year-on-year decline was in Beijing, down 79.9%, with raw coal output of 40,000 tons, followed by hubei province, down 65.2%, with raw coal output of 50,000 tons.The smallest drop was in ningxia, where output fell 1.7 per cent year on year to 6.243m tonnes.Sichuan province was next, down 4 per cent year on year, with raw coal output of 2.881m tonnes.
Month-on-month, raw coal production in 15 provinces and regions increased month-on-month.The largest increase was in hubei province, which saw a year-on-year increase of 26,000 tons or 108.33%.Shaanxi province is next.Heilongjiang province showed the smallest month-on-month increase, with an increase of 15,000 tons or 0.34%, with raw coal output of 4.374 million tons.Hunan province was second, with an increase of 13,000 tons, or 1.19%, compared with the previous quarter. Raw coal output was 1.109 million tons.
The largest month-on-month decline was in jilin province, which saw a decrease of 216,000 tons, or 19.25%, with raw coal output of 906,000 tons.Next was fujian province, which saw a decline of 70,000 tons, or 8.79%, compared with the previous month, with raw coal output of 726,000 tons.Sichuan province saw the smallest month-on-month decline, with a decrease of 14,000 tons or 0.48%.Shandong province is next.
According to the cumulative data, the largest production in january-june 2018 was in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi Province and shaanxi province respectively.Inner Mongolia's total output of raw coal was 496.383 million tons, accounting for 28.23% of the country's total output, up 9.5% year-on-year.Shanxi's total output of raw coal was 470.291 million tons, accounting for 26.75% of the country's total output, up 8.7% year-on-year.Shaanxi's total output of raw coal was 266.551 million tons, accounting for 15.16 percent of the country's total output, down 8.2 percent year-on-year.The three provinces and autonomous regions produced 1,233,225 million tons of raw coal in the first six months of this year, accounting for 70.14 percent of the country's raw coal output.
From January to June 2019, the total output of raw coal exceeded 50 million tons in eight provinces and regions, including Inner Mongolia, shanxi, shaanxi, xinjiang, shandong, guizhou, anhui and henan, with a total output of 155.8015 million tons, accounting for 88.61% of the total national output.
In terms of year-on-year growth, the cumulative raw coal production in January and June 2019 increased by 8.8% in 8 provinces and regions, with Inner Mongolia enjoying the largest increase, followed by guizhou province, producing 58.685m tons of raw coal in January and June, up by 8.8% year-on-year.The smallest increase was in yunnan province, which produced 22.876 million tons of raw coal from January to June, up 0.7% year-on-year.Liaoning province produced 16.235 million tons of raw coal from January to June, up 1.5% year-on-year.
The biggest drop was in Beijing, which produced 315,000 tons of raw coal from January to June, down 71.2% year-on-year.Hubei province produced 141,000 tons of raw coal from January to June, down 58 percent year-on-year.The smallest drop was in gansu province, which produced 18.743 million tons of raw coal from January to June, down 1% year-on-year.The second largest producer was ningxia, which produced 36.47 million tons of raw coal in the first six months of this year, down 2.2 percent year on year.
In addition, tianjin, Shanghai, zhejiang, guangdong, hainan and Tibet autonomous regions have no raw coal output.
